Welcome to North Thoresby GP Practice! We are a team of six GP Partners and three salaried GP's, working across our North Thoresby Surgery and Holton-le-Clay Branch Surgery to care for our local rural community.

Our mission is to provide professional, high-quality, accessible, and comprehensive healthcare that inspires confidence in our patients, their relatives and carers, and our wider community.

We deliver evidence-based care to the highest standards, offering advice, support, and information to help patients make informed choices.

We continually review and improve our services through regular audits and by acting on feedback and results.

Our team supports patients at every step, including nurses, a specialist nurse, healthcare assistants, a nurse associate, phlebotomists, dispensers, dispensary receptionists, care navigators, secretaries, administrators, a care coordinator, a pharmacy technician, an Advanced Musculoskeletal Practitioner, a Mental Health Practitioner, as well as our Operations Manager and Business Manager.

We offer a wide range of services to keep our community healthy, including general medical care, chronic disease management, minor illness and minor surgery, vaccinations, cervical screening, contraception advice, physiotherapy assessments, mental health support, smoking cessation clinics, phlebotomy, and travel vaccinations.

Our dispensary is located at the North Thoresby Surgery. Patients can register with our dispensary if there is not a local community pharmacy within one mile of their home. We offer a free medication delivery service for our housebound dispensing patients and provide monitored dosage systems (medication trays) for patients who require their medicines to be pre-organised.

We are proud to go beyond medical care with community initiatives like our reception book share, located at the Holton-le-Clay branch site, encouraging reading for all ages with a simple ‘take one, leave one’ approach.
