North Thoresby, Waithe and Grainsby Parish Council is made up of 10 elected members who work for the benefit of the community and all local residents. 


The Parish Council manages various assets including:


  • Village Hall
  • Memorial Garden
  • Pinfold
  • Mapletoft Play Park
  • Bus shelters
  • Benches
  • Noticeboards
  • Village planters 

Residents are kept informed through a number of channels, such as;


  • Parish Council meetings (monthly)
  • Parish meeting (annually)
  • Our website
  • Noticeboards at the Village Hall
  • "Thoresby", the quarterly newsletter delivered to every household

There is an Open Forum at the start of all public meetings, where residents are welcome to speak to the Council.


Agendas are published on our website and on the noticeboard outside the Village Hall.

Opening Times


The North Thoresby, Grainsby & Waithe Parish Council does not hold standard daily office opening times, as council operations are primarily managed by the Parish Clerk. For general enquiries, you should reach out to the Parish Clerk directly via email.


Parish Council Meetings take place at 7pm on the first Monday of each month
