Bowls is fun, social and competitive. Founded in 1975, the club facilities are on the High St. adjacent to Venney’s restaurant.
The goal of the club is to enhance community well-being. Lawn bowls is a skilful, tactical and inclusive game that can be played and enjoyed by all.
The club has over forty full time members made up from residents of North Thoresby and surrounding villages.
Bowls is healthy and fun. There are no age restrictions. We have plenty of room in our club for anyone who likes to challenge themselves by learning a new skill. Come and give it a try. New members are always welcome. No previous experience required. Pop along to one of our Saturday sessions or come and meet us whenever you see members bowling. We have spare equipment for you to use.
Times and Days
Bowling season started on Saturday April 18th this year. We will be bowling regularly until September. There will be social bowling during the weekdays, organised social bowling on Saturdays and league matches on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Saturday afternoon is a regular social gathering with refreshments and starts at 1:30pm.
