Pop-in lunches has become something of an institution in the village and celebrated its 20-year anniversary in January 2025.

Pop-in is a not-for-profit group managed and run by a team of volunteers; all committed to ensuring our guests have a nice meal in companionable surroundings.

The Pop-in lunch is open to all and welcomes new guests.

As well as enjoying a home-cooked meal Pop-in provides an opportunity to catch up with friends and to make new ones. Several of our regular guests live alone and particularly enjoy the social aspect of a Pop-in lunch.

Meals consist of a fixed menu of 2 courses, main and dessert followed by tea or coffee.

Special dietary requirements such as vegetarian, gluten free can be accommodated with notice.

We are proud to have achieved, and consistently maintained, a 5* Food Hygiene rating from East Lindsey District council.

We are fortunate to have close links with Lift North Thoresby and to be joined and entertained by some of the children at our special occasions – the Summer Luncheon in July and Christmas dinner in December.

Despite the rising costs of food and utilities we have managed to keep the cost of our regular meals at £5.

Our special meals, the Summer Luncheon and Christmas Dinner, also include wine and are priced at £8 to cover our costs.

Unless you have specific dietary requirements, no pre-booking is required – just ‘Pop In’!
