Rainbows are the youngest section of Girlguiding, for girls aged 4 to 7. Rainbow groups provide a friendly, welcoming environment where girls can have fun, make friends and try new things.
At their regular meetings, Rainbows take part in a wide variety of age-appropriate activities, including games, crafts, challenges, singing, outdoor activities and community projects. Through the Girlguiding programme, they are encouraged to develop confidence, learn new skills, work together and explore the world around them.
Rainbows are supported by trained volunteer leaders, and activities are designed to be fun, inclusive and adventurous, giving girls the opportunity to learn through play and earn badges as they try different activities.
